PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 3
O.K., Went to see the first showing of Paranormal Activity 3 tonight....It sucked!!! It was all cheap scares of people jumping out at you like a weak ass haunted house. There were about three good scares but that was all. Another thing that bothered me was that all the good points of the Trailer that made me want to see this movie were NOT IN THE MOVIE. The parts of Trailer that were not in the movie was the part of thr closet knocking, The scene where the little girl throws water on the entity, and the best part where she jumps off the 2nd story landing...ALL NOT IN THE MOVIE. Totally didn't feel like I got my monies worth. BTW, the story didn't follow the story line of the first two which was a bunch of crap. This movie could have went straight to Video. Two thumbs down.

More reviews to come!
We will be back on air in a few weeks with those juicy bits of what-not and pics to boot. See you when we return......if we return.
Thing 1 and Thing 2
Review of The Danger Run
Review of The Danger Run-
THREE LOCATIONS TO CHOOSE FROM!
Lowe's - 501 S Hurstbourne Pkwy Louisville, KY 40222
Lowe's - 6651 Dixie Hwy Louisville, KY 40258
Lowe's - 1350 Veterans Pkwy Clarksville, IN 47129
ADMISSION ONLY $16.99 per person
We went to the Hurstbourne Pkwy location. There were no lines and it was easy in and easy out and we even got help on the first clues.
I'm not much into treasure hunts and have not been on a Danger Run since it was the Ghost Run years ago. But I have to say that I enjoyed the hunt.
The clues were not to hard to follow and I only slipped up once..or twice. Knowing where the Dairy Queens are really helps. Back in the day your haunted attractions would be a haunted house in a trailer, but the haunts were awesome. Can't tell you where they are or it would give you to much advantage.
I did some math and if you went to two haunted attractions it would cost you around $40 a person...but Danger Run includes:
- The Danger Run Game
- 2 premiere haunts (a $36 value)
- Free cheeseburger from DQ
- Free vampire fangs
- With 4 or more people in your car get $10 in free gas from Speedway
- A chance to win HUGE Prizes
Plus you get the fun and frustration of trying to figure out all those blasted clues. I would have to give this a thumbs up even though it is not really "our" thing. Well worth the money and time with your friends and loved ones. I give it a Twisted Sisters thumbs up.
Review of Asylum Haunted Scream Park- GREAT TIME
Review: Asylum Haunted Scream Park- 3101 Pond Station Rd.
Hours of Operations 8PM-2AM Every Friday and Saturday from Sept 23rd- Halloween

Directions: From Downtown Louisville, take highway 65 South to the Gene Snyder West, Go just over 5 miles to exit 3 "Stonestreet", Make a right, go 1000ft and make another right just before the railroad tracks. Then go straight back to the parking lot.
As they say in their ad "40 acres, 4 attractions, 1 location.
This haunted venue has been a Twisted Sister favorite for the past 3 years and, once more, they don't disappoint in the thrills and chills department. Such variety....sigh. We really love the heart of this operation. These actors are fantastic. Having employees that give a damn about their job is what separates the "Asylum" haunts from the "people mover" haunted houses that depend on flashing lights and cheap scares.
This place has style AND substance.
1. ZOMBIE CITY- Very cool tour through an infected city full of freshly turned zombies. Dodging infected with the help of military/medical guides was fun and a must see for zombie fans. Very "walking dead-ish". While the "end of the world" set was cool, this was all about the actors.
2. ZOMBIE HUNTING- Hmmmmm. Cool? Not cool? A very foggy zombie shooting match while wearing safety goggles that only further minimize vision. It was very creepy to see these blurry zombie shapes rising from the fog but blindly shooting paint balls at them from behind a stand was kind of ....meh. We would love to see this tweeked and expanded. But our instructor was very courteous in explaining the rules.
3. CARNIVALE OF LOST SOULS- We arrived too late for the freak show but enjoyed the creepy tent carnival with as
sorted games such as "shoot the shit", a game were you toss T.P. rolls into toilet seats. It was really cute and the
actors running the games were very personable. It was a very small area with about 6 games and a table of zombie-esque items for sale. Again, this is something that I wish could be expanded on since it proved to be so much fun. We did however like the Zombie Trading Companies selection of ghoulish charms including remote controlled zombies and a 2lb gummy brain...don't like cherry by the mold...he has that too. See Matt for all your needs.
4. DARKNESS FALLS- Once again, amazing. 40 minutes of scares.
This haunted cross country jaunt just makes you feel like you really get all the bang for your bucks. Everything from jumps and boos to outright scream inducing terror.
William, our zombie-ish door man was an excellent start to another fantastic D.F. experience.
I have so much to say but don't want to give any surprises away.
Our favorite scares were: The evil tooth fairy, clown house, graveyard, the "flyer", the deli and something new, something that will make those who are afraid of close spaces go crazy, it blew our minds.
There was a part of Darkness Falls so frightening, so terrifying, that sister #2 ran screaming into the night, I grabbed her and held her still so that the "ghoul" could catch up and .....she bit me. She didn't knock me out of the way, she didn't hit me or kick me...she tried to eat right through me to escape.
Well done, Folks. If you can only go to one haunted house this year, we highly recommend "Asylum Haunted Scream Park". Thank you very much to Joe for the wonderful reception...we will be back again for another go this year.

NEW SERIES TO RIVAL THE WALKING DEAD...I DON'T THINK SO
Last season, AMC’s “The Walking Dead” arguably held the title for most frightening, goriest show on basic cable.
But when Season 2 of “Dead” gets underway Oct. 16 on AMC, it could face some competition from “American Horror Story,” the new F/X series from “Glee’s” Ryan Murphy that reportedly boasts a pilot that is a flat-out, non-stop freak fest.
THE WALKING DEAD SEASON II
HEARTLESS - INDIE HORROR
Heartless is one of the best indie horror movies of 2009! Jamie Morgan, a young man with a large heart-shaped birthmark on his face, discovers that there are demons on the streets of East London. If you get to Wild and Wooley get a rental.
PRIMAL
A young woman is reduced to a crazed predatory state while camping with her friends in the Australian wilderness. Looks pretty good.
LOOKS LIKE A GHOST ADVERNTURES INSPIRED MOVIE
The special effects look as good at Paranormal Activity and I paid to go see that. Take a look.
A NEW ALL TIME FAVOURITE!
I know this is a lot of post for one day after so much inactivity but I'm in a chatty mood tonight.
I have added to my list of all time horror movies...I know this is a little late and it has been out since April but it just came out on Netflix and if you haven't seen it, please give it a watch.
INSIDIOUS!!!!!
This movie scared the hell out of me twice and that doens't happen often. I thought the story line could have been a little better, but what it lacked in context it more then made up for in scary monster shit. If you haven't seen it please take a look at trailer and give it a rent!
OK, OK...So we know we have been slacking this year!
The Human Centipede Sequence II
We've been hearing about the sequel to Tom Six's "The Human Centipede" ever since the filmmaker released the first installment, which became a modest hit for its absurd premise.
Today we have an Australian teaser trailer for the second film, called "The Human Centipede: The Full Sequence." It doesn't show any footage, but instead promotes the movie by stating that the UK banned it and the US will cut it. It is set to be released in the US on October 7th, so we have yet to see if anything will be cut.
But regarding the UK, it is definitely banned. The BBFC recently released their reasons for the ban, pointing to scenes that show a man wrapping barbed wire around his penis and raping a woman at the rear of the "centipede."
The actual story revolves around a man who becomes sexually obsessed with a DVD recording of the first "Human Centipede" and who imagines putting the "centipede" idea into practice. Six has stated that the sequel will make the first film look like "My Little Pony."
Six is actually planning a trilogy and claims that the third installment, called "Human Centipede: Final Sequence," will make the second movie look like a Disney film.
