ESCAPE OF THE LIVING DEAD

For those of you who are fans of the original, the co-writer John A. Russo is finally in pre-production for the film based off the Avtar Comic.

Plot Outline:
Returning to the themes of the original NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD, John Russo's has based this on the Avatar Comic of the same name, Escape is set in the same universe as Romero’s Night of the Living Dead, picking up many years after the initial outbreak. The theory is that some of the zombies were captured for experiments and have now escaped, causing the dead to come back all over again.

ESCAPE OF THE LIVING DEAD will frighten, entertain, and pay homage to one of the most important horror franchises in film history. WE HOPE. Zombie purist should be elated right about now.

Now there is no trailer for the film yet but I did find the Facebook page which has a teaser trailer based off the scene drawings for the movie (no it will not be a cartoon). Here is that link for some reason I can't make it a hyperlink:
